BAJA RESTAURANT IN SANDBRIDGE, VIRGINIA BEACH

I just visited the Baja Restaurant, located on the south-end of Sandbridge, at 3701 Sandpiper Road in Virginia Beach, VA this past weekend. It's been quite a few years since I've been there and was very pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door. The restaurant had been renovated and I love the new decor. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun! The menu offered a great variety, seafood, steak, casual sandwiches and local pizza. The are known for their pizza and crab cakes. The pizza was to die for! The best part of the night was when all of my friends headed out to the back deck to hang out with all the locals. The large outdoor screened deck features a full service bar, pool table, large dance floor, and an amazing view of Back Bay. Our courtyard offers bayside seating, a Margarita Tiki Bar, a horseshoe pit, and a large Dodge ball arena. A local band called Uncle Drew was playing and they had everyone on their feet dancing. If you every get a chance to head down to Sandbridge in Virginia Beach, make an effort to check out the Baja, a locally owned restaurant since 1975. You won't be disappointed!
